Classic Mini's in South Africa
The Mini arrived in Britain in August 1959. Within months, Alec Issigonis's masterpiece was being shipped in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kit form to every corner of the British Empire and beyond: Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and South Africa. Blackheath, a suburb of Cape Town, became the home of the South African Mini. Assembly began in December 1959,just four months after the car's UK launch and ran until October 1983.

The changing demographic of the Classic Car buyer
We, the baby-boomers, and yes I belong to that group, have the nasty habit of dying. Looking at the funerals I have to attend it has become quite a popular activity.
